About the Artist
A beholder of life, death,
and the beauty in between
Artist Statement
Since she can remember, Zoe has always been fascinated by the internalization of human behavior, the stages of life, and how we as humans grapple with the mystery of death. Through her art, she explores these topics, expressed through symbolism, figurative depiction, and poetry. Her compositions are often representations of dark elements, juxtaposed with themes of light in order to convey the duality of life. Above all, Zoe’s work is a study of the inner workings of people. The unspoken of what we think, feel, and how we process, illustrated to make the viewer dive deeper into their own experiences and consciousness.
Though most of her work is autobiographical, she hopes it can be seen through the viewers own lens and feel how it impacts themselves.
